Multi V5 — High temperature at the outdoor unit inverter PCB heat sink.

Possible causes

• Inverter PCB IGBT/IPM connection incorrect, or outdoor unit fan motor malfunction reducing heat sink cooling
• Overload operation from clogged piping, blocked fan/airflow, defective EEV, or refrigerant overcharge

Check steps

• Check the inverter PCB IPM connection and confirm the outdoor unit fan motor operates normally
• Check piping, airflow blockages, EEV connections, and refrigerant pressure; replace the inverter PCB assembly if defective
