Dixell EE: Data or memory (EEPROM) failure — the internal watchdog has detected a failure in data or in the internal memory of the controller. This fault typically halts operation and needs immediate attention.
Possible causes
- Electrical spikes/interference corrupted the non-volatile memory (no filters fitted, probe cables not separated from power cables).
- Internal controller fault (aging EEPROM chip or firmware corruption) requiring replacement.
Check steps
- Press any key to cancel the alarm (the 'rSt' message appears briefly), then check every parameter value against the expected setpoints and correct any wrong values.
- Fit mains filters (Dixell DIXL930/DIXL932 or equivalent) and re-route probe cables away from power cables; if the EE alarm recurs after correcting parameters, replace the controller.
